  Really tasty blend of Vlahiko and Bekari. From the Ioannina PGI. The is a relatively high altitude, crisp red with medium ruby, tart red fruit, tart plum, botanical herbs and spice. The palate is dry, with medium (+) to high acidity, medium tannins and medium alcohol (12%). This light to medium-bodied red is very food-friendly and evokes what a Beaujolais - Schiava blend would taste like, if that makes any sense. Drink now, not intended for aging.

  Bright cherry. Chalky. Minerality. Green pepper. Really tasty and delicious!

  P&p; open and expressive right out of the bottle. Cool dark-reddish fruit, olive, black tea/leafy and earthy aromas, with terrific general wildness and pungency, quite alluring. Similar flavors, nice friendly cool fruit but with lots else going on; savory, saline/stony/earthy/mineral, with good acidity and freshness. Pinot/Gamay-like weightlessness, highly drinkable, and at the same time packed with substance and character and just delicious.

  Delicious new vintage! Big wallop of fresh tart berries and some gushing plum with a core of barnyard that feels more adorably rustic than like dirty winemaking. This wine screams for lamb rib chops.
