  As one great song says - it’s a fine line between pleasure and pain. This is clearly very well made and quite high in quality, but I really struggle to identify with it. It is savoury in nature and intensely herbal. The dark plum fruits offer just a touch of sweetness, but are quickly overtaken by a freight train of savoury complexity. There is fennel and spice, floating atop a green oaky backdrop. The tannins are firm and the finish is long. Technically it is a very good wine, but I struggled to drink it.
