  Beautiful wine, tannins were well integrated. Great with Filet Mignon but also great on its own. I do think another 3 or 4 years will make this even better.

  Beautiful! Opened at 9:30 am, sipped at 9:45, and it was amazing. Sipped again around noon and it had closed up, lost its nose and much of its fruit. Left it open in bottle and then decanted around 2:45 for 3pm dinner; by 3:15, after much in-glass swirling, it had become delicious again. So well balanced, just a pleasant touch of oak, fine but distinct tannins, and nice lift leading to a long finish. Velvety mouthfeel. Delicious on its own and with the NY strip. Great wine, great experience.

  This remains one of the best Napa Cabs that I have ever had. Feedback from bartenders at local steakhouse restaurant confirmed the same - beyond other much higher priced wines. A little dusty and oaky at open, so give it some time to decant. Great dark fruit, some vanilla and oak. This is a special wine. Tannins are present and very smooth.

  Finally getting back to tasting this wine. Lovely bright floral aromas. Fields of violets. Dark burgandy in the glass to the edges. Acidity is bright and lively. Flavors of dark fruit, blackberry, blueberry and cassis. Tannins are grippy yet smooth. This is a lovely, lovely wine. Simply fantastic. Outstanding.

  Simply outstanding. Needs a 2 hour decant to shine, and improved overnight. Great nose and flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, caramel. Tannins are silky. Medium-long finish with good acidity. Glad I have several more bottles to see what this can become in a couple years.
