Tasted at The Wine Society's Dolce Vita Italian dinner, Stevenage, UK. Colour is light toffee gold. The nose is fresh and herbal, palate smooth and soft. Drinking well now.

When I tried this wine at a tasting a couple of months ago it tasted like liquid apricots on the palate. This bottle seemed less obviously apricot-tasting, which made it more interesting - still very floral and fruity with nicely balanced acidity. It's on the light side of desert wines and not too sweet - an advantage when pairing with lighter deserts or in summer time. Not as complex as a mature Sauternes of course but definitely has its place. I would buy this again.
