Rather strange colour, somewhat pink and brown. A sour aftertaste. Didn't go well with the grilled salmon either, which is normal a shoe in for Pinot. Will leave the other bottle for a couple of years to see what gives.

Popped and poured 12.8% under procork unfined unfiltered 9000 vines per Ha , oak ? Don’t know
Colour Slightly hazy semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. 15/15 Nose med intensity floral notes and red fruits red cherries, strawberries spicy dried herb notes. 28/30 Palate med intensity light and fresh drink now style great balance, flavours of red cherry and strawberry show good intensity. Nuances of sour cherries, subtle dried herbs, stalky cedar and spice long finish with mouth puckering acidity and finely grained tannins. 40/44 Overall well made very drinkable feminine style Pinot , hard to fault 10/11

Vinosphere (Town Hall, Sydney): Medium minus intensity, slight cherry and red currant, sweet spice…more of the same on the palate but, again, tending to sourness.
