Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 97.7 points

  • The combination of power and finesse in this wine is remarkable. In the best Hundred Acre wines, there is a weightlessness - on the nose, in the mouth, in the finish - that is astounding for something so ripe and full, almost like Cabernet flavor in Pinot frame. In short, this is a singular - and delicious - wine.

Cherry red in color and medium in body, the wine offers aromas of sour cherry, fresh leather, peppercorn, and spice cake. Flavors of blueberry, raspberry, espresso bean, and pencil lead, with a silky and layered finish that goes on and on. 15.5% alcohol. Decant at least two hours. Drink with confidence for at least the next 3-5 years.
