  Dark mahogany in color, this wine (80% Merlot/10% Cabernet Franc/10% Cabernet Sauvignon) reveals aromas of cassis, saddle leather, cigar leaf, cedar, black cherry and lavender on the nose. The mouth feel was full bodied and brought added notes of pencil lead and mocha. The finish was very open and well integrated. 13.5% abv.
  
  Purchased for $9US, this wine is a killer value that clearly shows its sense of place. Buy this one by the case.
