Well this is really coming round. Tannins are softening and it has a lovely smoky sweetness. Give it 2 years and it will be very satisfying indeed. Great value....

Well. I know I said I would wait a few years....but looking for something to have with grilled lamb and red peppers in harrissa paste I opened a bottle. It's improved in 3 months. Deeper, more damson and plum with a longer and more harmonious finish. It was a great pairing. I've improved the score.....and we will see how long my holding lasts!

Interesting. The 2011, tasted recently, was wonderful. Integrated and harmonious. 2015 wasn't such a good year and it shows. I think there is more cinsault in the blend and the grapes have not fully meshed; fruit flavours are there but there are tannins providing a harsher backdrop. After a day being open it was better, but not as voluptuously forward as the 2011. I think I will leave my other bottles for 3 years and see how we are doing then.....

Very consistent with my last experience in 2019. Still surprisingly fresh. Garrigue. Smoke. Excellent QPR.

It's growing on me. With sweet chilli sausages - softer tannins and more integrated. A simple pleasure....
