  1 hour decant, served at about 55 F. Maintaining its ruby color. Lighter bodied cab blend, with the cab franc asserting its presence. Savory nose of tobacco, leather, dried roses and a bit of plum. Palate is dominated by very pleasant olive and sweet cherry fruits, with (less pleasant) dried oak, and notes of cedar, sweet tobacco and tomato and a hint of balsamic vinegar. Acidity well-integrated at this point. Slightly velvety medium length finish. Don't mind big oak wines at all, but the nature and amount of oak on this wine holds this wine back from a much better score.

  Aromatic and savoury nose of cherry, currents, olive, mineral and leather. Dry and medium in body with soft, complex fruit flavors and fresh balancing acidity. Nice tannic bite to finish with a lingering earthiness.
  Cabernet Sauvignon with a small component of Cabernet Franc. 10 months in oak - origins not disclosed.
