  • Red fruited nose and palate with good integrated acidity and tannins. Will keep but very delicious now !!

  • It seems that this wine is only available in Japan, or so the importer said.
This should have a relatively high percentage of Pinot Noir (vs Gamay) compared to other Passetoutgrains, but documentation is scarce.

Well, my first red Ramonet, just after the Aligote: medium ruby, bright red color. Good intensity on the nose, fresh red fruit, red cherries, strawberries, raspberries, with light cloves and brown stalks. The aromatic pungency somehow reminded me of Alsatian Pinot Noir.

In the mouth acidity wins: it is quite pronounced, with medium body and medium grippy (coarse) tannins. Medium finish of red fruits.

A bit unbalanced, it really needs food. Also not that complex, but nice intensity and definition.
