Oh boys and girls! I don't know what to say except that this wine is simply sweet and I don't mean the taste, but the character of this wine. It's simply hard to imagine a person who wouldn't be delighted with this drink. We have here everything that should be in such a wine, in addition in perfect harmony and balance. I can write that the wine is 'polite', because nothing is noisy here, nothing breaks out, nothing is either too weak or too strong. Of course, 27 years did their job. Soft, mellow, silky. Mild aromas of red cherry, cedar, smoke, toasty oak ( this is 100 pts!), meat( interesting), coffee. Taste - not so rich like smell, but still delicious. Soft, but vivid acidity, soft, but still grippy tannins. Juicy red cherry, red currant, black berry and black currant. Long, savory finish, where acidity and tannins show, that this wine is still alive and well.

Boston Wine + Poker BYOW, Lincoln, Mass: A classic St. Estephe (with a little bit of the sternness that implies) -- a pleasure to drink now, and the end of the drinking window is still a long way off.
Thanks to Michael Malinoski for bringing this.

Magnum. P&P. the wine is in a really good window now. complex nose, red and dark fruit, tertiary aromas, very elegant. the palate goes long, very fine and round tanins, good length and freshness. seamless. fully open for business and will tay open for a while.

No sign of aging, fresh and still had plenty of tannins. Wonderful.

My last bottle! Identical profile as my notes of 5-2-2022, 4-6-2021 and 7-15-2021. This wine will be missed!
