Taste: The feel is full bodied with medium acidity. The feel is lush, yet balanced with red apples, peaches, melons, nougat, oils, vanilla, white flowers, and green tea.
Overall: This just lacks that last bit of depth that would take it to another level. There is excellent complexity with good balance between the fruit, oak, and malo. This is drinking perfectly right now.

Final bottle of two. Opened last night, have just a few ounces chilled to taste today. Aromatics of barrel/toast, citrus peel and flint. When tasted with the chill, it shows a rainwater/citrusy palate. As it warms, the palate picks up green apple, citrusy lemon and retains the flinty note that frames up the texture. This tastes more complex, more driven in tone than it did last night, and if this is any clue as to where the wine is, I'd bet this continues to age in bottle well. I'd be curious to see if others noticed the evolution of this wine from aeration, as my bottle exhibited that evolution.

so few notes on this wine. I'll help. First of two bottles since purchase. Opened about 90 mins ago, drank through dinner and now having finished, a final pour for this note. Temp is perfect, with a light chill from the fridge still on the wine. This vintage of LG shows a kiss of oak, but it's faint. It adds a touch of caramel but it's an accent really. In the core of the wine, lots of slate, some light citrus, green apple. I like this vintage of LG. Clean, medium weight and enough fruit accents to give it a complete feel.

First Gathering with Blind Tasting Group in Fifteen Months (Chez S1): Fully integrated now. While I always love the citrus acidity on this wine, it is now in harmony with peach and faint vanilla notes. Minerality still shines.

A weekend in Sonoma, Act I-Littorai, Copain, Red Car (Sonoma County, California, USA): Nose: The nose is lifted and balanced with red apples, quince, peaches, melons, vanilla, oils, nougat, mint, white flowers, and green tea. There is good complexity here but it lacks just that bit of depth that would really add to it.
