One hour double decant, followed by a two hour slow ox. Very very deep dark magenta color. Stewed black currant, powdered sugar, and dark raspberry. Smooth, dry, full bodied palate. Full, round tannins on the longish finish. 90% Syrah, 6% Grenache, 4% Mourvèdre
This is drinking great. It’s a baby Saxum, but hardly a baby. My notes don’t do this justice. This was my contribution to a fun double date with Mark1NPT at Jimmy P’s Charred in Naples, FL. Classic hole in the wall steakhouse (and longtime butcher). Nice wine selection.

Decanted for 1 hour then back into the bottle to slow ox another hour before taking to dinner an hour later. Feels and tastes much like an Andremily to me. Maybe a touch more mouth glide to the Andremily but these could be kissing cousins! Deep, dark fruit, smooth texture in the mouth. What I especially like is this one does not have an overwhelming 'savory' component. It's sort of New Worldish fruit and I appreciate the lack of savoryness in this wine, if that's a word. Very, very nice! Ty Agelvis for bringing this one!
Prominent aroma of vanilla, blueberry, ripe black plum. Full body, bold flavors, smooth tannins, moderate acidity and high alcohol. Long, intense finish.
