  • Unscrewed and pour. Medium deep ruby in appearance. Nose of earthy red berries and some jammy plums. On the palate, there are cedary blackberries with some spicy black currants. Medium bodied with a medium finish; definitely has a "jaminess" to it. Fruit forward and a good stand alone sipper. Drink now.

  • PnP on a lake weekend

-color: dark garnet in the glass with brilliant ruby edges
-Body: by appearance this is a medium plus to full bodied wine,
-Aroma:a little plum, blackberry, and earthiness, the black currant standard, a touch of cedar
-Palate: black currant flesh and skins, a little bell pepper greenness, dark plum and a touch of vanilla, tannins are medium to medium plus, acidity is medium. The black fruits are plush and tart on the front and trail off into a tannic finish that endures for 10-15 seconds.

I picked up this bottle after my wife tried it by the glass at dinner. It’s a tidy little tannic Cab Sauv
