  Dark red with a brownish hint. First nose of cherry and red licorice. Second nose of red berries, oak, and a bit of wet stone. Light on the palate and smooth. Slightly dry finish. Flavors of cherry, strawberry, vanilla, and oak.

  Tasted over two days. Fine vintage typicity, light, precise, and approachable. Also quite rustic, particularly after several hours of air. This wine offers an example of what Bordeaux used to be, before the international, fruit-forward style came along. It has the substance to age through 2025+. If drinking now, decant for several hours.

  This deep ruby wine is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc that delivers spicy aromatics and a nice core of red and black fruit. Medium-bodied, fresh and seamlessly alcoholic (13%), it has flavors mirroring the nose, soft oak and medium sweet tannins. Nicely dense on the mid-palate and medium in length on the back end, this is a quality red that typifies how a great Bordeaux vintage is tantamount to a high tide floating all boats. Enjoy this well-priced wine over the next 6-7 years. Drink now-2025.
