Wine seemed in perfect form for consumption, but should stay in top form for several more years. Nice fruit notes and smooth tannins. Allowed ~45 minutes to open and it could us longer! I would put this at the top of my Malbec list -

Very solid WA Malbec, some new wood, but not obtrusive. I think I would have guessed Merlot if served blind. Not sure if the single vineyard is bringing anything to the table.

Really nice. Similar, but a bit better integrated than last time. Still some time, but in a really nice place right now.

Paired well with flank steak. Dark berries, plum, tobacco, chocolate. Medium weight and longish finish. Mild tannins. Nice.
