  Awesome merlot. McM knocks it out with this medium priced reserve merlot. It was the hit of the dinner. For wine club members, its around $60 with discount but is better than most upper end reserve merlot. 20 minute decant. Dark fruits blended with a hint of earthiness, tobacco, chocolate, a little spice, and a nice easy finish that gets more complex as it goes. Benchmarked it against the Groth cab and it was far better. Dinner guests were trying to figure out how to buy it.
