  The there is something just a bit off with this vintage. Not a lot of strong notes and the finish seemed truncated. Good balance in acidity. Not bad, just not great.

  Classic California cab from Alexander Valley. Nice ruby color. Touches of Vanilla on the nose. Ripe fruit. Plum. Blackberry. Black cherry. Light acidity. Velvety texture with good tannins. Medium finish.

  As always, consistent Cab from Silver Oak. Black raspberry, cassis and sweet tobacco aroma. Dried raspberry leaf flavor. Excellent texture, has mellowed flavors and a smooth finish. Ready to drink now and could do well with a few more years in the cellar as well. Great acidity for food. We pair with homemade pizzas and the spicy sausage, goat cheese and carmelized onion and kalamta oliva pizza was perfect with things wine.
