Fabulous. Still fairly exuberant, with juicy red plums dominating on the nose. Middle-weighted on the palate, with well balanced acidity and soft tannin, this was great with duck.

Hard to believe that it’s been over three years since I last had this wine. Of course time has been a bit of an odd construct these last few years. The time has been good to this wine. The fruit has settled in and developed a velvety sheen. The herbal elements have turned to mint and rosemary. It’s texturally inviting while remaining lithe and limber. It’s a featherweight that can jump out of the way when one tries to capture it. Delightful.

Liked this, didn't love it, especially for the price. Has some D&R markers with a little funky/herbal streak to it. Felt just a little disjointed, perhaps drinking a bit too early and will all come together?

A Good Monday: Dirty & Rowdy & EDWC YEAH! Tasting in ATL: Really excellent showing. Terrific balance of acidity, clean red fruit, spice, plum, some mint. Delicious texture. Youthful. Beauty.
