Boring, bland wine. Smells of stewed fruit and vanilla. The same notes carry over to the palate, which is thin and weak.
This is a terrible wine, definitely not worth the price. People who don't want well-made wine, but just sweet vanilla juice, will love this. Don't waste your money. If you want Zinfandel or Primitivo, go for a more serious producer.

A "Toy Wine" This is exactly the kind of oak treatment that give wine a bad reputation. Many people with no experience will probably love this due to its cloying sweetness and vanilla on nuclear-level. There is fruit underneath but the wine feels like drinking two uncombiend liquids at the same time.

The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like vanilla, black pepper, prune, raisin and red currant. It tastes like oak, black pepper, biscuity and prune. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. All in all Delicious!

Extremely good wine. Nice structure, full body, you can taste the oak, taste the fruit, and it's all well balanced. I like this wine. I think it is the best of everything that I have tasted so far from Coppola Winery.
