Solid weekday Syrah from Central California that becomes more elegant after a couple hours of decanting when less than 5 years old. Lots of jammy black fruit, spice on the back palate, and grippy tannins. The lack of matched acidity to the heavy tannin profile made this wine a bit harder to drink without the 2 hour decant but once we hit the 2 hr mark it really started to open up. Serve at a slight chill and you'll enjoy this New World version of Syrah.

My wish came true and I got 1 more bottle. Enjoyed it every bit as much as the 1st one, probably even more. Nicely done syrah!
