I have tasted this wine several times in this vintage but this bottle was disappointing. A part from berries a bit of bret in the nose!!! Sour, unbalanced, lacking the clean fruit and velvety mouthfeel I guess this bottle was a bit off...

Like any volcanic wine like Edna or Santorini, it gives some minerality to the wine that gives it a fresh, elegant touch. It is not a light wine, but there is just a light note. Easy drinkable at around 16 degrees it is very nice. The wood is well integrated and in the background. The fruit is in spite of the fresh character dark fruit. Some herbs and mineral soil. Good finish. Drinking well now but is likely to get better in a year, although it is not a "vin de garde". The Candio 2010 tasted good in 2015 and this one is similar, but at a younger stage.

Lightred, thin color
Some WC, stables, juniper, lots of herbs, green, sulfite
Slender, cool climate, dry with a good length
Interesting wine from a very interesting area, the island of Tenerife.
