  Ruby to light crimson, clear orange on rim variation. Medium legs. Subtle aromas of blueberry, blackberry, prune, light toast, vanilla; just a hint of oak and clove. Light to medium body, narrow texture, medium finish. Acidity is medium. Impression: a straightforward Merlot designed to attract tasters who prefer low-intensity and simplicity in their red wines. At $16, QPR is well below average, thus the rating. Drink now.
