Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 95 points

  • Absolute amazing. The way Napa used to taste before the current rush of over extracted fruit and in your face tannins.

The approach contains dark fruit, dirt, leather with just enough oak. Tannins kick in for a long finish but are well integrated and not over the top. Drinking very well with a short decant and opened really nicely over several hours. It has staying power but is drinking very well now.

This is a beckstoffer property down at the southern end of Oakvilke on the West side of hwy 29.

The downside, extremely expensive (too much in my opinion) even this it is a limited production (144 cases) and, the alcohol is way too much 15.3%. Drinks like. 95, but I’d prefer a 91 that may be obtained for ⅓ the price.
