Pop and pour into a decanter. In the glass, very clear, pale yellow-gold. On the nose, equal parts lemon and oak. On the palate, crisp, bracing, with ample citrus on a deceptively silky attack, with aggressive acidity and oak arriving on the back end with a biting finish. Other vintages of the Aequorin have been skirting the line with the oak and acidity, but this one is standing on that line, if not stepping over.

A little acid upon opening but opens up into a creamy, voluptuous wine. Not really the characteristics of an Oregon Chardonnay but delicious nonetheless. Drink up.

Two hour slow ox. Golden yellow color. Lemon pound cake, honeysuckle, limestone, and powdered sugar on the nose. Smooth, dry, glossy palate, with nice acidity.
This is drinking very well now. It’s a beautiful Oregon Chardonnay and the closest thing the United States has to a Grand Cru Bourgogne Blanc (in my opinion).
