I enjoyed this far more than expected. Really ripe and fleshy with sweet tropical fruits and just enough grassiness to capture the varietal nicely. Doesn't do that reductive Marlborough thing. Good value.
Bought a bottle for 16.50 during a local restaurant's half-price wine night. Light green/gold, fragrant grassy nose, very good mouthfeel. Took half the bottle home and drank 24h later: still good but had lost a bit of fruit. After recent visit to Santa Barbara, I'm getting more interested in its wines like this one. Screwcap. I see this for 8+ in Wine-searcher Pro but don't know if it's available at retail in my local market. My evaluation: I've stopped giving scores on a "100-point scale" as I've become less convinced that they can be meaningful to others. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this notable+ when considering quality, age, and price in the restaurant setting.

Another average $10 CA suav blanc. Citrus, melon, apples, and grassy notes. Light, balanced, and easy drinking.

I liked this a lot, but it's not a typical Sauvignon Blanc. More ripe fruit (peachy notes) than grass or citrus.
