Medium ruby color. Nose of cranberry, cherry, cinnamon candy and other sweet baking spice notes. Similar flavors on the palate. Good, juicy acidity with medium- tannin. Fruit forward and quite tasty wine. Main issue is you can drink similar quality Italian barbera for half the price so the QPR is poor.

On the nose is red fruited with some raspberry, flavors of raspberry predominate, hint of herbalness, low tannins, has a real nice moderate acidity, paired reasonably well with pizza (this pizza didn't have much sauce, it seemed like a saucier pizza would have paired better). This is a nice wine that had a nice acidity.

Pair well with an Isreali spiced chicken rice dish, but certainly could have handled deeper, heavier fare. More fruit driven than I remember from tasting with touches of dusty and spice. Drank casually with no notes, which is a bit of a shame. I suspect a couple more years will add complexity to this.

Tart red fruit, hints of cloves, spices, cedar, and orange zest on the nose. Nice acidity with fresh red fruit and berry flavors on the palate. Good finish. A really interesting Barbera from CA, a pleasure to drink. 91+
