Pale lime-green color. Fruity and somewhat candied nose with aromas of pear, red apples, some white flowers, a little bit of pear marmalade and a hint of white peach. Contrasting the vibrant and fruity nose, the wine is surprisingly soft and mild on the palate with a medium body and light flavors of pear drops, some white peach, a little bit of marmaladey fruit and a hint of green apple. Medium acidity. The finish is short and flabby with flavors of pear drops, some white peach and a hint of alcohol.
I usually enjoy Alvarinho Vinho Verdes quite a bit but for some reason this Morgadio da Torre has been a disappointment for several vintages now. While the nose was quite attractive, the wine failed miserably on the palate, coming across as surprisingly bland and low in acidity for a Vinho Verde. Nothing of interest here. Expensive for the quality at 15,48€.

Bu en succ.
Sous les 20$, simple et frais, léger et assez droit.
Pas le plus complexe mais se boit bien.
