One of the better Bourgogne’s I’ve had in a while. It only took me having to spend three weeks in Africa to enjoy it. Surprised to see it in a wine shop in Kenya. While light on its feet, I enjoyed the high toned red fruit and minerals.

Light ruby in appearance, with a medium nose of sweet redcurrants, faint cherry aroma, some toastiness, earthiness and hints of flowers, and rich backdrop of darker fruits and cocoa. Creamy in the mouth , acidity is medium, and there are flavours of sour cherries and unripe plums. A generic wine with little complexity , but well made and very satisfying as an entry level Burgundy . Drink up in the next couple of years.
