No overrating at all for this Bellevue Figeac. Aromas of ripe dark berries, hint of orange peel, fresh tea and some bark. Rich and round on the palate, fruity and some vanilla and chocolate. Full bodied with a long finish. Classic St Emilion and better than some Grand Cru Classes that I know. Let's wait for the new classification in 2022! Eddy Louis

I may be overrating this wine for some tasters but I just love the quaffability of this lush Merlot-based blend with its heavy but integrated oak. Deep purple colour leads to an inviting nose of dark brambly fruit and a rich, round palate with a stimulating touch of raspberry acidity to accompany the chocolate flavours (halfway between dark and milk..). Fills the palate with a medium/long finish. I will enjoy these in their youth, hoping it doesn't shut down some time soon. Yum!!

Solid. A bit austere, bit too much wood but with a nice long finish. Better with food.

Have been enjoying this wine all night. Not fancy or extraordinary yet solid with significance. Real wine here, serious purple tongue.
A fine entry level Bordeaux.
