  • Tiny tiny bubbles. All finesse. Just lovely. So persistent. Certainly will improve with some cellar time but hard to resist today. Highly recommended for the cellar.

  • Strawberries and melons in a tuxedo. This wine was delicious. Stupidly small bubbles but the aromatics were particularly good here. Took probably 45 minutes to show but when it did, it was stellar. Goes to show that you don't have to know a restaurant owner on am exclusive group to enjoy great sparkling wine. The misfits know how to do it!! This one has the power and finesse to keep going. I'm going to be seeking out 3-4 more of these without a doubt.

  • First time I am having a Krug Rose and it confirms the competence of the house. Right from the start this feel very elegant and creamy. Great integration of the red wine. Lovely aromas of citrus, flowers, vanilla with some raspberry too. Just missing the autolysis notes a bit at this time. Definitely feels young still. Approach this with a short decant or cellar further. 94-95

  • I love it ! Rare bottle, blend of 22 wines chosen among 2005-2010 vintages and final cork closed in 2016. At the end, a 51% Pinot N., 32% Pinot Meunier and 17% in Chard.
Look: stunning pale salmon/copper hue, very thin bubbles (but many!)
Smell: a mix of fresh strawberries and brioche
Taste: what a breadth !, it has volume, it's unctuous, structured with bakery and citrus notes. Long and persistent finish
Can be at the same time full of elegance but can stand up in front of a spicy lobster and a mallard duck pie.
    Superb ! ..expensive..but superb
