The price ( from German discount chain Aldi )is ridiculously low, and the wine is an alarmingly deep gold in colour ( think a possible specimen bottle!), but it is actually a decent budget Chardonnay . The nose shows mierality, hints of white flowers, and tropical fruit ( under ripe pineapple?). Creamy mouthfeel, decent acidity , and a surprising finish of dry minerality. At £3.99 ( $5.25 ) fantastic qpr!
