My last bottle of Belluard, I always loved his wines. Looking forward to tasting the wines by Monsieur Gringet as a continuation of Dominique's legacy. This was drinking really well, very fresh, white flowers, white peach, green apple, lots of length and elegance

Long day of wines: My contribution. Said 2015 on the cork so not actually sure which vintage was this. Blend of two parcels, one from marl soils and the other from limestone. Aged in concrete eggs before blended in tank. Ripe yellow fruit, the acidity has faded as noted by a previous reviewer. Texturally quite round and weighty with a lovely saline finish. Intellectual sort of wine that is not immediately pleasurable, think the others were in two minds about this but I enjoyed this a lot.

My first time with gringet. Medium straw colour in the glass. A bit of lemon and chalk on the nose, and maybe apples. In the mouth it had a slight viscosity, rich feeling like a marsanne. Didn't feel there was a great deal of acidity as some reviews have commented, perhaps having faded by this point. On the palate it had a slightly fermented tang, with notes of apple (or yes, pear, as some have noted), lemon curd and a clean, slightly saline finish. A nice wine and definitely a different experience.

Minerally grapefruit. Sort of austere/light in body, but packed with flavor. Love this. Better the second day.
