Serious Wines (Voyage): Pnp, bottled Jul 2013, 3.5 g/l, disgorged Jul 2017, 2200 bottles produced, vinified in 228l barrels. Pale gold yellow, toasty, some red apple, honeyed, full body with med grippy finish. Expected more from the vintage and this maker, probably needs more time with air to express itself.

Nose: The nose is gorgeously balanced with a seamless quality to the tones of Bruised red apples, quince, nectarine, spiced pears, vanilla, crushed rocks, biscuits, brioche, yellow flowers, toast, almond paste, roasted nuts, and hazelnuts.
Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with tart, high acidity. The seamless quality from the nose follows through on the feel with bruised red apples, quince, spiced pears, vanilla, crushed rocks, biscuits, hazelnuts, almond paste, biscuits, and toast.
Overall: This is from a 6/17 disgorgement and it is in a great place. While I’m sure it can age longer, it is beautiful and balanced in a way that makes it really expressive.

Red fruits, pretty easy to discern as PN, apple skin and cranberry. This was bone dry, and I had a hard time believing it wasn’t a no-dose bottling. The fruit was ripe but this remains fairly austere.

High acid, great complexity, texturally a bit disjointed. Seems like it could age on this acid profile for quite a while.

Delicious. After tasting I double decanted and enjoyed it even more after a little air
