  Comparative Tasting Brunello Riservas 2013s. Generous air time in container already. Drank in Grassl 1855.
  Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aroams of dried Oregano herbs, dusty rocks and earth, tanned leather, sour red cherries, dark red plums. Developing.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (14.5%), grippy high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of classic sour red cherries, dark red plums, tanned leather, dusty stones and earth, dried Oregano herbs, deep spice. Long finish with sweet herbs.
  Very good quality. Powerful masculine Brunello. Will develop and drink well over the next 5+ years.
  Vineyards well located around Montosoli in Montalcino North.

  Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. Good structure with Medium+ tannin and acidity. Spicy with cherry, mint, leather and vanilla and a nice long finish. It is just lacking a little something to take it to the next level.
