  • Really nice White Rhone blend of 45% Viognier, 35% Roussane, 10% Piquepoul Blanc, 5% Marsanne and 5% Grenache Blanc. Med gold. Med (+) aromas of ripe yellow apple, white flowers, grapefruit, white peach, vanilla, wet stone. Dry, with med (+) acidity and alcohol (13.5%). Full bodied, slightly oily, with a chewy, slightly bitter, mineral finish. Med (+) to pronounced flavor intensity and length. Top Texas white, Class Champion and Double Gold, 2019 Houston Rodeo Uncorked Intl. Wine Competition. Very pleased to be trying this again. Really a dead ringer for a white CNdP, at a fraction of the price. It has aged only imperceptibly in two years and should show well through at least 2022. Best served on the cooler side.

  • Very good Rhone white blend, complexity, good with food

  • Very good and different white Rhone blend that just works! Would make a great summer quaffer, but not overly austere or acidic. The floral nature of the Viognier (45%) and Rousanne (35%) dominate, but the other whites add more dryness to it, but not too much. Totally enjoyable, especially at the price. Will change your mind on Texas wines, but after all, this is what Kim is good at.
