Delicious Chard with a luscious mouth feel. Very balanced oak, acidity and fruit. Absolutely gorgeous. Excellent price /performace. In a very good place but no immediate rush to drink up.

Tropical fruit notes, brioche and lovely spice notes. This is as much weight as I want in a Chardonnay, but it is outstanding. Paul Lato doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. Great juice.

muted tropical notes and stone fruit on the nose. beautiful peach and apricot on the palate along with fresh cream. one of the richer/fatter wines of the night. a seriously long finish. an easy drinker that was aged to perfection.

All American Chardonnay Tasting (New Jersey, USA): Double decanted at 1:30 and tasted from 3-9pm. This may have suffered from tough comparisons. Rich dark lemon yellow color. Nose is creamy and buttered, with vanilla and caramel. Seems ripe and fruity and probably went through full Malo. More “Cali” than “Burgundian”. Ever so slight oxidation and a clear buttered popcorn palate overtone. Medium-long finish with peach notes. Somewhat “muddled” and in need of aeration IMO. Richer and more oaked than the majority tonight. In the lower half for me. (91-92)
PS - A third of a bottle was left and tasted throughout the next week and actually seemed even better. tasted fresher and still quite creamy and stone fruited.

Opened with Sunday night sushi and finished last night. This is a beautiful wine with a palate of white flowers, orange peel, a hint of brioche and tangerine. Just a touch of oak on the long finish. I have one bottle left and I will save it for a while.
