Ripe nose of boysenberry and pomegranate juice. Full-bodied, this is moderately tannic with good acid and loads of ripe, exotic fruits and spices. Excellent with both American Chinese food and bbq ribs the next night. Drink now-2027+ 93

Double decant. Concentrated Black and blue fruits. Meaty and floral notes. FULL BODIED richness... A bit on the boozy side. Not the most complex CDP. Very Quaffable and a solid QPR.

Can you believe that Xavier Vignon does not grow his own grapes? He is a consultant for the best vineyards. Focusing on the best estates and growers in the Rhône Valley, he has created a directory of contacts he calls to obtain some of the best fruit (which he helps grow) and produces some of the most exciting wines in the region. Cuvée Anonyme is Xavier's signature wine and one of his first individually crafted wines. From old vines that have been traditionally planted, it has Grenache, Vaccarese, Counoise, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Terret Noir and Muscardin, which are over 100 years old. Each vintage contains a different blend. Here we have equal GSM + Cinsault. Let's go to the core of this wine. 2 hours in the decanter. It could be 3 with no "damage" Very harmonious taste. All aromas are up front, nothing is left behind! That's why it is hard to separate them all. I will try. Cedar, vanilla and red cherry for sure. Minerals too. Herbs and flowers, forest (?). Raspberry and mandarin (?). Marihuana (?)... I'm just kidding, but the smell is simply very addictive. The taste? Well, I'm so happy I can drink high quality wine at an affordable price. First of all balance, second - looong finish. A minute or so. Red cherry, blackberry, blueberry ( so nice). Herbs, something sweet, but I wouldn't say it's chocolate. Raspberry is here too and who knows what else. I don't care. Grainy tannins and perfect acidity. Delicious, intrigue, complicated, but at the same time easy to drink wine. The 2017 vintage in the southern part of the Rhône Valley received 94 points according to the WA Vintage Guide. RP - 97 JD-96 Vinous - 92 ... Eureka! This sweet component is, in my opinion, pralines of milk chocolate, red cherry and vodka. No surprise, because this juice is loaded with 15% ABV

This was full flavored and tasted like a classic Southern Rhone, something most '17s can't claim. Lavender, sandalwood, garrigue, blackberry, burnt sugar. An impressive result for a difficult year.

Didn’t seem to have much life left. Not sure it ever did.
