Dark black look to it. Nose was full of fruits. Taste was classic Hundred Acre. Lots of red ripe fruits with hints cedar and tobacco on the end. Finish was an incredible 45 seconds! Got better throughout the evening with food or without. Truly a delight to drink.

What a wine! This vintage is in such good shape. Very inky and dark red look to it. Nose was full of red ripe berries and cherries. Hints of tobacco and chocolate plus a whiff of cassis. This wine has lots more time in the cellar, but why wait? Great right now! Finish was a loooong 45 seconds to 1 minute. Drank with dinner (seafood). Just a great experience! My wife particularly enjoyed this wine! Glad to have another bottle left. I feel the Ark vineyard in 2011 produced the best fruit. It shows in every glass.

I'm hoping this was just a flawed bottle, as an experience this bad would have stood out for me, and it's not even close to my notes from the last bottle. I noticed a bit of a brown tint immediately as I poured the first glass, and the first sip revealed a plummy, gloopy mess ... reminded me of a cheap Shiraz (and my apologies to the Shiraz). Fortunately (or unfortunately) I have one bottle left from a 3-pack, which I'll probably drink within the next few months or so.

2011 vintage proved that even the great Jayson Woodbridge can’t give more in the bottle than Nature will allow. Muted, dusty rose sort of wine, never puts on weight after opening. Quite nondescript and drinkable with food, but won’t command attentiion like most every other HA wine will.
