Solid '16 Ribeira del Duero. Nose is quite closed but the palate is fresh and soft with notes of fresh cranberries, old leather, dusty oak and fried mushrooms. Acid and tannin are still quite prevalent which makes me think this wine has a long life ahead of it, but so far its a bit closed off with some nice fruit and tertiary development but the balance and finish is note quite there.

Aromatic nose of charred wood, bitter chocolate, cassis, violets, and cedar. Distinct and flavourful palate; well-balanced and structured with good acidity and grip; very good tenacity and length. 4.5/5

between the 2014 & 2016 El Pedrosal --these wines are a few that got us thru CoVid ... Love these for their QPR ---thank goodness we could buy a bunch ...:-)
Red fruits on the nose. Medium bodied, high acidity. Red and black fruits on the pallet. Light tannins. Light spice. Very good table wine, overall delicious. Would buy again for regular drinking.

Boisé très proéminent mais tout de même intéressant.
