Pale straw, fizzy with loads of tiny bubbles and a foam rim developed in the bottle after short while; yet viscous @13.3% abv. Medium aromas of pineapple, mango and herbaceous notes. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol, medium body. Medium(-) flavors of pear, mango, touch of vanilla(?). Clean mouthfeel, good length with peppery and slightly aggressive finish. Not quite balanced, neither here nor there.

Very good Pinot Gris by any standard, but this Oregon wine is made in something approaching an Old World style (think: Alsace). Green apple and green almond flavors are accompanied by a touch of citrus, all delivered on a frame of crisp acid. No flab, no oak, and certainly no turpentine in the bottles we've enjoyed.

Fizzy, harsh, abrasive and offensive, think turpentine. Only drank the bottle cause it was the only white we had on hand and it was new years day. I would never ever buy or drink this wine again. Quite possibly the worst bottle of wine I have ever tasted.
