Medium copper color, a shade deeper than your typical Provence-styled rosé. Aromas of strawberry and peach. Citrus, strawberries and red berries on the palate. Wine is dry and supported by medium acidity. Alcohol is medium. Decent value rose. but there are better options at the $10-$15 price point.

Tupungato, Alto Gualtallary, Mendoza, Argentina. Retail $13. 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Tempranillo, 10% Pinot Gris, 10% Viognier. Organic grapes. I have sampled many wines from Domaine Bousquet at this point and I have always been impressed. I searched, but could not determine definitively if this is a True Rosé, but based on the flavors (tart, reserved fruit, flinty), I am guessing that it is. Quite Provençal in appearance and taste with tart fruit, zingy acidity, and a chalky finish. This is not my favorite rosé, but at $13 it doesn't need to be. thedrunkencyclist.com
