Dinner with the Post guys (Chez Kimelman): For about an hour, I was amazed at how open this 2010 was. Not just open, it was great. Rich, deep, balanced sweet fruit mixed with some savory spices. Then the window began to close and didn't stop until it was firmly closed.

A step up from the Marchand-Grillot Gevrey-Chambertin 2010 Champerrier Vigne Centenaire I opened a few months back, while also quite similar. Very enjoyable in an accessible and fruit-forward style, there is a lot black fruit and good spice. Very easy to enjoy today, just slightly less nuanced than i expect from Gevrey 1er in a vintage where Gevrey was the star of Cote d'Or.
