  Unusual, but very very good.
  
  Pale gold.
  A pronounced nose of gooseberry, nettle, almond, lemongrass, lime and pineapple.
  Dry, medium (+) acid, high alcohol (14.5%), medium (+) body, pronounced flavour intensity, with gooseberry, almond, nettle, lime and pineapple developing with time in the glass. Medium (+) finish, with a slight phenolic grip when first opened.
  
  This is an extraordinary wine, developing through the ripeness spectrum over several days opened, from tightly wound lime and gooseberry with an enlivening acidity upon opening and mellowing into grilled pineapple with several days of air contact.

  Ripe and tropical, but balanced. Custardy passionfruit and with hints of wheatgrass and kiwi. Quite lush and moreish, but at 14.5% be very careful. It wears its weight extremely discreetly.
