  This has improved since my last note. One more bottle in the cellar, perhaps I'll let it sit. It sure isn't going anywhere, with the tannins enough to let this age a few more years.

  Opened, poured and let sit about 40 min. Then: Dark fruit on the nose. Taste is dark fruit, somewhat muddled, no particular varietal profile; maybe a faint touch of sweetness pokes through; very one-dimensional. Tannins noticeable, but not a big problem; acidity OK. Initially the finish seemed a bit thin, but then gained some weight after time in the glass. This is close to my 11/22/2022 note. My last of 3 bottles and not sorry to see it go. All in all, pretty disappointing.

  Opened, poured and let sit about 40 min. Then: Darkish fruit on the nose. Taste starts out with acidity at the front; darkish fruit in the background; softish mouthfeel. By the middle of the glass the acidity has mellowed only slightly and the fruit is even more in the background. By the end of the glass, the acidity not as noticeable, fruit still way in the background, and the tannins now are very noticeable. Not any pleasure drinking this and hard to see it improving with time.
  Don't know if this will help anyone, but here's Day 2: Acidity not as harsh at the start, but still unpleasant; tannins not as harsh on the finish; probably a bit softer mouthfeel; fruit still way in the background and what can be tasted is not that interesting. Still not pleasurable drinking, but maybe a point better.

  Legit, is LEGIT!! Amazing cab, still pretty tannic so it'll last a while longer. I'm sure this wine was a beast in its youth.
