Very pale brass. Apple and grapefruit nose. Lively, bit of grapefruit tang. Predominately apple with a hint of bitter lemon. Medium finish. Drinking very well, quite pleasant.

Willamette Valley June 17 - 19 Tastings: Hints of tropical and white florals - bright, off dry citrus and tropical fruit with secondary dry herbs spices and florals. Crisp finish.

387 cases produced. The new wine aged on the lees for 8 months in a neutral oak foudre, then racked to tank one month prior to bottling. Bottled unfined. Moderate aromas show notes of pear, lychee, marmalade and light quince with notes of almond, honeysuckle like flowers, orange blossom and hints of chalk, mineral and river stone. The palate has fleshy and unctuous textures and juicy acidity. Flavors bring notes of orange marmalade, quince, lychee and citrus along with almond, flower nectar, slate, chalk and minerals. The finish is moderate in length and intensity.
