Decanted for a bit over an hour. Red fruit (cherry?) on the nose as the initial palate, but quickly overpowered by the dusty tannins and earthy finish. Probably would be decent for a mushroom and tomato-heavy dish.

Quite amazing quality for a crianza, with a sweaty depth, rich earthy texture, and idiosyncratic beauty.

Soft tannin, uncomplicated. Not bad, but also not "good." Improved with air. Note to self: always decant & wait, T and I concur not to rebuy.

Floral, dark berry, sandalwood. Dry dense fruit with a salty tannic base. [From Rioja tasting.]

Red cherry, brown leather, spice. Overall, a traditional profile with a little extra mid palate heft. Nice value under $15
