This is classic Napa Cabernet. Pen ink and raspberry on the nose; black cherry, currant, and blackberry on the palate, with savory spice and fairly strong tannins on the medium to long finish, with good acidity. This was a very good value at under $60.

It's been two hours since I pulled the cork. Cassis and faint forest floor/moss on the nose. Everything is nicely integrated, but you can tell it's still on the youthful side. Fruit is extraordinarily dark, almost tar-like, with heavy tannins that are integrated yet restrained.
Lewelling never fails to disappoint. Will drink my next bottle late this year just because I love the stuff, but I'm guessing this has 2 to 5 years before truly hitting its stride. 92-3 today, I can see this adding another 2 points with time.

Very good. Only drank half bottle ... second night was GREAT. Drinkable, but age worthy.
