Cherries and pomegranates on the nose. Doesn’t have the depth of some of the other Fleuries that I’ve had recently so that suggests this is better for shorter term drinking, which it is awesome for. Bit of strawberries in finish. Good demonstration of why cru Beaujolais is such a good value— it’s only a few dollars more than the nouveau (ugh).

Fruit is beginning to fade. Fairly simple, but pleasant enough.

Great bottle for the price. Not cellar material; the two years I kept it were just right for it to get where it is going to be.

Great wine for the price. Bright cherry smooth with some acidity. Good finish. Gamay is a versatile wine and this is a pretty good one.

Nice, subtle violet floral note on the finish. And I like the name.
