Beautiful rose gold colour Distinct Marmite nose, spicy, buttered brioche, brown apple, a little oxidative, Very dry on the palate, low dosage, some brown apple, but it’s not massively fruit led. Gorgeous texture though, creamy, full, very long. Lots of class here. One for lovers of a richer style of champagne. Only thing missing is that red fruit note you get in the best blanc de noir champagne.

A conversation about English sparkling wines made me order this as a starter aperitif at Davies & Brooks- everyone really liked it - nice apple and strawberry fruit and good but not overwhelming acidity and crispness- great as an appetite starter.

Classic blanc de noirs with that brioche, baked apple, and white strawberry coming together very elegantly. There is perhaps a bit more of acidic and citrus lift towards the end, which I often associate with English sparklers, but its not bracing or mean. Nice mousse, could be slightly finer. Very good.

This is a rather nice fizz from Sussex. Quite a rich yellow colour. Initially strong mousse subsides rapidly and is not very persistent in the glass. The nose has notes of wild strawberry and a slight butteriness. On the palate it is very smooth - again some slightly tart red fruit and some richness combine well. The finish has strong, almost sweet, fruit (red apple?) but ends crisp and not at all cloying.
This is very decent QPR at the ~US$30 that I paid, and a repeat buy if I can find more at that price.
